She will only eat gravy lovers wet food. For over a decade, she has rejected every wet food and gravy treat except for Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers. 10 days ago she stopped eating except for a few bites of food a day and all the treats we would give her.

Vet ran a battery of blood tests: everything was normal. Normal thyroid, normal kidney/liver functions, no pancreatitis, normal red/white blood cell count. Literally everything came back normal.

The next step would have been an $800 X-ray to view her abdomen for possible issues. We decided to try an appetite stimulant first.

I picked her up from the vet yesterday but forgot the meds. My husband gave her a different can of wet food for dinner. She ate it immediately.

The cat isn't sick. She just decided she didn't want to eat beef/chicken flavored food anymore. She wants the seafood varietals instead. ②

WiseNugg During the pan mic, everything was difficult to get and I had to swap and pay like 40 dollars for litter because her usual brand wasn't available anywhere.

She wasn't going to the bathroom and after a day I was fr king out so 500 dollars later it turned out she just didn't like the new litter brand.

Fantasynerd365 Back when I was in high school I remember we had a cat who once when we changed her litter went right next to the fully clean litter box in protest.

tenderourghosts We just had a similar experience with our senior stopped using his litter box, we cat. Little panicked because he's 17 years old and were worried something was really wrong.

$600 later and we're told he's in incredible health for his age. We moved his litter box to do some cleaning and he immediately used it. He just wanted a change of scenery for his bathroom breaks, I guess

irfulvas It could be a bad batch or the packaging wasn't properly sealed. I bought the same food once and my cats decided not to eat it. I smelled it and it had a more floury smell, not as rich. The next packs they ate normally.

Secure-Marsupial-557 Oh my god, my cat is the same way. She decides when she's tired of one food and wants something different. My small dog is the same way.

lastlatelake My elderly cat had stopped eating and just sat in a dark room staring at a wall. I paid $400 for a vet to tell me that she wasn't dong, she was just mad at me. Which checked out because right before that she'd just had her porch privileges taken away for wandering off. Which she had never done before because the little diva didn't like the feel of grass on her paws.
